A devastating earthquake struck Haiti on Saturday, August 14, 2021, with a 7.2 magnitude Nearly 2,000 people died and more than 9,000 people were injured. The earthquake impacted more than 1.2 million people and destroyed buildings and infrastructure, including nearly 61,000 homes, and damaged more than 76,000 more. Thousands of families are in need of assistance. The need is overwhelming.
