Ordination and Consecration of The Rev. Moises Quezada as Bishop Coadjutor

The Episcopal Church’s Presiding Bishop Michael B. Curry and the Rev. Canon Michael Barlowe, registrar of General Convention, have notified the Diocese of the Dominican Republic that Bishop Coadjutor-elect Moisés Quezada Mota has received the required majority of consents in the canonical consent process.

Quezada was elected bishop coadjutor on July 26, 2015. His ordination and consecration service will take place in Santo Domingo at 10:00 a.m on Saturday, February 13, 2016. The Presiding Bishop will officiate. The ordination and consecration service will come at the conclusion of the annual convention of the Diocese of the Dominican Republic from Thursday, February 11, through Saturday, February 13. A detailed schedule will be posted here as soon as it is available, but the schedule highlights include the following:

Dress: cocktail attire (Women – knee-length dress, or dress pants or a skirt with a nice blouse; Men – a jacket and slacks, with or without a tie. Saturday February 13
