From Bill Kunkle, 9/15 a.m. 09/19/2019: It is time again for our Mid-Year meeting of the board of directors of the Dominican Development Group. This year we are hosting our meeting on an electronic platform. Zoom Meeting allows us to call or log in on your computer. You will only be seen on the screen if you log in through the computer. If you call in using the phone numbers below you will be limited to audio. Materials for the meeting will be sent out by email soon and available for viewing online. Our typical Mid-year meeting is from 9am to 430pm. We will be abbreviating this meeting to better accommodate our members schedules. Please let me know if you have any questions or need assistance in any way. It is very important that members log in at 10am EST so we can have a quorum role call for the meeting.

Introduction by DDG President Ed Miller
DDG friends – You may recall that John Gruetzmacher offered to create documents with board responsibilities and staff job descriptions to help refine the effectiveness of the DDG. During the summer, has spent hours and hours developing these documents board responsibility documents and staff job descriptions. He sent several versions of each document to Bill Kunkle and to me for our review. I great appreciate John’s willingness to consider the suggestions that I made.
The latest version of each document is attached in the meeting packet in both Word and PDF versions. To easily see a file onscreen, click the PDF link. John can introduce the topic on Monday. There will not be time for a lengthy discussion of the contents. It would be helpful if you could take a quick look at the documents so that you know generally what John is proposing. He can answer any questions that you may have. The plan as designed last February is to discuss the documents at the next annual meeting in February 2020 and adopt them then with whatever revisions the board desires.
I am extraordinarily grateful to John for his commitment and expertise. We are the beneficiaries of his wisdom.
